Place: McIntosh Country Inn , 12495 County Road 2 Morrisburg, ON
Rounds: 5
Type: Regular Swiss, One section tournament with prizes by rating group – rating groups determined by player distribution.
Round Times: Saturday 9am/2pm/7pm, Sunday 9:30am/2:30 pm
Entry Fee: $50 at site, $40 if paid before November 16. $20 Amateur option (not eligible for prizes) available to all players.
Prizes: $$BEN$$
Time Control: G/90 +30 seconds, G/120 for those with analog clocks
How to Register: 8:00-8:45 am on site, register in person at the RA Chess Club (CASH ONLY) October 16 and October 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, or by cheque: Make out cheques to Au Diapason Inc, c/o Raymond Lacroix 41 Kingslea Crescent, Cornwall ON K6H2J2.

Miscellaneous: Bring your clocks, no computers, no smoking, byes available rounds 1-4 (maximum of two .5 point byes) if requested in advance. An EOCA Grand Prix Event. Registration for the tournament ends at 8:45 SHARP. Players arriving after 8:45 am on October 25th  may register late and receive a half-point bye in Round 1.

The MacIntosh Country Inn is conveniently located at the junction of Highway 401 and Junction 31 in the town of Morrisburg, Ontario. The Inn is only a half an hour drive from Cornwall and Brockville, one hour from Ottawa, three and a half hours from Toronto, one and a half hours from Montreal and twenty-five minutes from the U.S. border crossings.
From Toronto or Montreal: Take Highway 401 to exit 750 and proceed south to County Road 2. Turn left and travel one kilometre where you will find the Inn on the north side of the road.
From Ottawa: Take Bank Street (Highway 31) south to County Road 2. Turn left and travel one kilometre where you will find the Inn on the north side of the road.
