EOCA Grand Prix Regulations

Grand Prix Sections
Top, U2200, U1900, and U1600
Prizes:
Top section winner's name engraved on Grand Prix trophy
All section winners: Personalized engraved plaque
* Scoring Rule: Most points from the player's "best N-2" EOCA events
* Best N-2 means N (the total number of tournaments held in the Grand Prix year) less 2 tournaments
* For example, if there are 9 tournaments held in an EOCA Grand Prix season, points from the player's best 7 events will count.
Other Regulations
* Players' points are included in the Grand Prix section determined by their rating in the September 1st CFC rating list of the current Grand Prix season.
* All players' points earned in the Top section are also included for the Top section Grand Prix prize section.
* A player with no posted CFC rating, or a posted CFC rating which is Provisional (based on the September 1st CFC rating list of the current Grand Prix season) will have their points included in the U1600 section during the current season.
* Game points for Grand Prix purposes include a 1 point TD bye (max. 1/tournament)
* 1/2 point byes are not counted in the Grand Prix standings.
